Fat Chance in the end.

Sometimes I teach people with a promising future
sometimes I teach people doomed with no future
because they have chosen not to learn anything or not behave properly.

They have chosen the road to hell.
Parents don´t care and our community doesn´t worry about them while they are at school. When they are over 18 then there are schools for adults.

Spain is a strange country where students take a course/ grade
and repeat and repeat without a good reason.
Some of those students blame the teachers  and accused them of being bad teachers or
bad entertainers because they get bored during
lessons
but in their same classes
the hard-working students thrive and get "top marks" and distinctions
so teachers cannot be that "bad".

Being at school longer than necessary
by "repeating"
for those who
don´t study,
don´t do homework,
don´t respect their classmates,
don´t respect their teachers´work
because
they are not working hard enough though they can,
because they don´t try
to use their wits.
is THEIR PUNISHMENT.

So students aged 15 in 4º ESO are in the same group as 17-year-old students that believe they can harass teachers,
be rebellious-abusive-disruptive,
interrupt explanations
and go unpunished.
Those good-for-nothing students get older
but persist in their claim
that learning the basics is not important at all.
Their true punishment is being at the same level
for ages and not getting any better.
Eventually  some of them become dropouts.
They leave the system with no qualification.
They are a challenge for every teacher
and a nightmarish setback for their classmates.
The road to become a NEET ("nini" in Spanish)
starts here. NEET stands for "not in employment,
education or training".

Go on telling teachers are wrong and do nothing and
maybe in the near
future parents
will have to teach
their sons and daughters
the tough lessons of life skills.
